Do you repair equipment?
As part of our ongoing commitment to quality and service, we operate rigorous repair and maintenance procedures. All equipment is fully maintained and serviced at the termination of each hire.
Equipment is retained within ‘Awaiting Inspection’ areas until full service and maintenance checks are completed. Where products require additional repairs, the equipment is relocated to ‘Quarantine/Under Repair’ areas. Equipment which has been serviced and repaired is placed into ‘Ready for Hire’ areas.
PSS HIRE Engineers and Technicians are fully trained and certified by the industry’s leading manufacturers, including McElroy, Fusion Equipment, TT UK, Advance Welding, Harrington Generators, MSA and Centurion. We use manufacturers’ genuine parts during repair work, ensuring that any warranties are not invalidated.
Do you offer re-calibration?
PSS is an authorised service calibration and repair centre for radiodetection C.A.T3 and C.A.T4
Buried utilities represent a major hazard to construction workers. Poorly planned excavations can cause cable or pipe damage resulting in costly repairs, delays and personal injury.
Our fleet includes radiodetection’s industry leading Cable Avoidance Tool (C.A.T) and Genny range. Enabling operators to work more efficiently and safely, the C.A.T can detect signals naturally radiating from metallic services, or the Genny can be used to apply a distinctive signal that the C.A.T can detect.
At PSS HIRE, we have the C.A.T and Genny 4 which represent the latest evolution of this technology and offer distinct advantages over C.A.T3.
