Roles and responsibilities
We now have a fantastic opportunity for a Sales Executive covering our Scotland region to join our close-knit, friendly team to help us develop and grow the PSS Hire Equipment business. Reporting to our Regional Sales Manager, you’ll have the freedom to manage your account portfolio to drive and deliver results and be at the forefront of customer interaction, acting as our brand ambassador and helping us to be the best in our industry in everything we do.
Needless to say you will be able to build great relationships and harness those, in order to maximise opportunities. You’ll be inquisitive and a creative thinker, able to generate leads from both our existing customer base and from new industries where our equipment could also be utilised.
You’re likely to already have a proven sales management record, however we are really interested in hearing from you if you have great communication skills and the drive and motivation to succeed in a healthily competitive technical sales role in a collaborative, fast-paced business.
What will you need to succeed?
- Experience working in a customer-focused role with the ability to demonstrate excellent relationship management skills
- Excellent planning and organising skills, able to manage your own time to maximum effect
- Resilient with the ability to work in a pressurised environment
- Effective communication, influencing and negotiating skills
- Ability to promote the PSS Hire and A-Plant brand
- Experience in Sales/Account Management and the utilities industry will be advantageous but not essential
- Proficient IT skills and the ability to analyse data such as business plans, performance and market data
- You’ll be based from the nearest PSS Service Centre and the role will involve Regional and occasional National travel.
