Service, Repair and Maintenance
As part of our ongoing commitment to quality and service, we operate rigorous repair and maintenance procedures. All equipment is fully maintained and serviced at the termination of each hire.
Equipment is retained within ‘Awaiting Inspection’ areas until full service and maintenance checks are completed. Where products require additional repairs, the equipment is relocated to ‘Quarantine/Under Repair’ areas. Equipment which has been serviced and repaired is placed into ‘Ready for Hire’ areas.
PSS Hire Engineers and Technicians are fully trained and certified by the industry’s leading manufacturers, including McElroy, Fusion Equipment, TT UK, Advance Welding, Harrington Generators, MSA and Centurion. We use manufacturers’ genuine parts during repair work, ensuring that any warranties are not invalidated.
From our Service Centres, we can also provide a cost-effective repair and calibration service on a wide range of products. We have made significant investment in staff training, as well as the latest test equipment, to provide repair services from any PSS Hire Service Centre to many leading utility companies and contractors, with competitive turnaround times and quotations for work before the job is completed.
